About me

Hi, my name is Graciano, Brazilian, and I write code since 2008. Basically half of my life. I also write non code things on this website since 2019. If it’s not currently being updated, it will eventually come back. It always does.
I like the fediverse, and I’m one of the maintainers of a mostly Portuguese-speaking server at burnthis.town.
During my career, as one does, I’ve started and abandoned a lot of side projects. While I write this, some of them are in development. I hope they keep that way while the reader is here.

The most interesting one, I think, is a partial counting votes for legislative houses in Brazil. In my country there isn’t currently a way to check which parties are gaining or losing chairs (partial non guaranteed result) until all the votes are counted. It started in 2022, I’ve had health issues in 2024, and I hope it works in the next election cycle of 2026.

Another relevant one is Ludista de Tarefas, currently available at beta.ludistadetarefas.net. All the big task list apps are productivity gamefying anxiety inducers. Productivity is supposed to be an economic collective measure, not some individual characteristic. Hence, the reason for the name: “ludista” means luddite in Portuguese: it’s a negation, not of the technology from task lists, but the idea behind them. I’ve started it a long time ago and started taking it a little more serious in the recent year.
